Bonnie's Story
Bonnie is from Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Bonnie is widowed. Bonnie's schools include Denfeld High School. Bonnie later attended University of MN-Duluth, MN BAS degree in Community Health and Psychology and the University of Wisconsin Superior, MAS of Community Counseling I worked as a licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor for 30 years and retired. I worked for the i Center for Alcohol and Drug Center, Arrowhead Juvenile Center, Port Rehab and the Community Addictions Program in Fergus Falls MN. My deceased husband Chuck were caretakers of two apartment complex's in Burnsville MN We went home to Esko MN where we had a home with ten acres of land. My madian name was Bonnie Moline, My mother had a baby when I was 15 years old so I had to take care of my little sister for the nest three years. I married Calvin Roehl when we were 18 who was my childhood sweetheart, we knew each other since we were five years old. we hung out together all of our lives We had four children, a daughter and three sons. we were married for elev...Expand for more
en years before we divorced. I remarried a year later to Chuck Johnson who was 11 years older than I was. He had a daughter who was the same age as mine. Chuck and I traveled a lot throughout the years which was fun, He adopted my four children and I adopted his daughter. It is a long story to be told here. Chuck and I were married 26 years before he passed away in 2004. almost a year later I remarried my ex-husband Calvin Roehl. He and his children and grandchildren got along great. Five years later Cal developed Cancer and died in 2010. I have not remarried. I have been active in the past in politics and activism in Duluth and appointed to the Community Development Advisory Board for which I sat for five years, I left the board when I moved to Esko. after Cal died I moved to Inver Grove Heights MN and have been here five years. I continue to be involved with the DFL,, Parks and Rec, Senior Caucus, State Senior Caucus and Senior Community Club. I also belong to the Grove which is a fitness center and my Church.
